Dear SOBEP Colleagues
I have the immense honor of, on behalf of the Board of SOBEP, inviting everyone to participate in the 48th Congress of SOBEP, which will take place from the 25th to the 28th of July 2023, in the charming Curitiba, the city that will receive our society for the second time, and from which our oldest members keep beautiful memories of the 2002 congress.
The capital of Paraná is the largest city in the south of the country, being a reference in quality of life and known as the smartest city in Brazil, with a beautiful cultural and gastronomic diversity, as well as beautiful landscapes, which, without a doubt, will provide us with a beautiful experience.
The Organizing Committee of the Congress, led by Profa. Dr. Juliana Lucena Schussel, has been working very willingly and diligently and we will have a scientific program of excellence, with the participation of national and international guests, references in their areas of expertise, in addition to scientific and social activities, already traditional in our congresses, all planned with great care, for exchanging experiences and strengthening the bonds of collaboration and friendship.
For sure, we will have an unforgettable congress.

After 21 years, we are pleased to welcome again in Curitiba the Congress of the Brazilian Society of Stomatology and Oral Pathology. In order to discuss the most important topics of our specialties and bring the most current scientific knowledge in Stomatology, Oral Medicine, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Hospital Dentistry, we are preparing a scientific programme with great international and national names. Among the highlighted topics are: Digital Pathology, Potentially Malignant Oral Disorders, Clinical Research in Oral Medicine, Communication in Stomatology and Oral Pathology, Hospital Dentistry and a special collaborative session SOBEP & World Workshop on Oral Medicine. We want this to be a congress with many discussions, exchange of experiences, formation of partnerships and collaborations that strengthen our specialties and consequently our Society. We are preparing special moments of interactivity between professionals, graduate and undergraduate students with a lot of knowledge and learning. And of course, the traditional sessions of clinical pathological conference, slide seminar, imaging seminar and presentation of clinical cases, which make the SOBEP congresses the great moment of meeting of specialties.
