Chief Complaint: “I have swollen parotid glands with a lot of pain. When I massage and compress with hot water, a yellowish goo comes out of the cheek”.

History of current illness: Periodic events of abrupt and extremely painful swelling in the parotid region on alternate sides for 8 years. In recent months, the crises became more frequent, bilateral, also involving the floor of the mouth.

Medical history: Asthma (under treatment since childhood), anemia (already treated). Recent surgery for ovarian teratoma removal.

Medications in use: Montelair 10 mg (continuous use), Alektos (during asthma attacks) and Aerolin (SOS).
