Título: PLEXIFORM X MULTINODULAR SCHWANNOMA IN BUCCAL MUCOSA: CASE REPORT

Resumo: Venezuelan, 22 years old, pheoderma, recently arrived immigrant, attended after complaining of facial lesion growing for 1 year, underwent 3 related surgeries. During ectoscopy, a slight increase in volume was noted in the right buccinator region, in addition to a scar at the site of the previous surgery. During oroscopy, a 30 mm nodule and lack of definition of the fornix at the level of the lower molars were observed, with normal color, fibroelastic consistency and pain on bidigital palpation. The imaging evaluation showed a mixed, multinodular, soft tissue lesion, measuring 40 mm, with an irregular, well-defined contour, associated with the right buccal nerve. We opted for oral access, divulsion in planes, facial ligation and detachment of the piece, which was multinodular and adhered to the buccal nerve. The anatomopathological analysis and immunohistochemical analysis indicated the diagnosis of Schwannoma, according to previous reports. She remains in follow-up, without recurrence.
