Resumo: Zelendronic acid is one of the therapeutic alternatives in patients with breast cancer, to inhibit bone resorption in patients with metastatic breast cancer lesions. This paper aims to present a clinical evolution of osteonecrosis of the jaw associated with the use of medication, with 3 years of follow-up. A 58-year-old Caucasian female patient, diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017, used zelendronic acid once a month for two years. After two years, she presented bone exposure in his jaw due to the use of a poorly adapted prosthesis. The surgical approach had to be maxillary bone removal. Patient with tomographic follow-up for 3 years. It shows us the relevance of Dental clinicians of dental monitoring before, during, and after starting these medications.
