Resumo: Patient S.R, aged 58, presented for dental evaluation with notable oral debilitation, partial edentulism, ill-fitting removable partial denture, and associated gingivitis. A treatment regimen was devised, incorporating the implementation of a protocol prosthesis supported by maxillary implants, facilitated by a CAD/CAM technology-driven surgical guide. The initial phase encompassed intraoral scanning utilizing the Omnicam scanner (Dentsply Sirona), followed by transmission of data to the laboratory for creation of the surgical guide, guided by tomographic data. Virtual planning, facilitated by specialized software, enables precise surgical interventions, thereby enhancing procedural safety and predictability. Consequently, this approach minimizes procedural inaccuracies, reduces operative duration, and enhances patient comfort.
