Resumo: Chronic sclerosing sialadenitis (Kuttners tumor) is a chronic inflammatory disease associated with the salivary glands. Histologically, it presents with lymphocytic infiltration, formation of lymphoid follicles, and extensive fibrosis. Definitive treatment may involve removal of the associated gland. Our study presents the case of a 50-year-old patient with complaints of increased hard volume in the right submandibular region, associated with pain and burning during chewing. On computed tomography examination, images suggestive of sialoliths associated with sclerosed tissue of the submandibular gland were observed. Therefore, we opted to perform a fine needle aspiration biopsy, guided by ultrasound, which suggested a chronic inflammatory process, followed by removal of the submandibular gland and sialoliths. During the postoperative follow-up, the patient developed an infectious condition, requiring complementary approaches, including fistulectomy and debridement. Currently, the patient has been followed up for 4 months without signs of recurrence or infectious processes associated with the surgical site.
