Resumo: Sialolipoma is a rare histological variant of lipoma, composed of a neoplastic lipomatous proliferation in the salivary glands. 40% of cases affect the parotid glands. Case report: A 54-year-old female patient attended the hospitals outpatient clinic with an increased volume in the right parotid region with pain on palpation. It presents a soft consistency on extraoral palpation and is firm intraorally. FNA was suggestive of chronic sialoadenitis. Imaging examination showed a well-defined nodular lesion with fat density, measuring 3.4 x 1.5 cm in the right parotid gland. An excisional biopsy was performed. Histopathological analysis revealed a benign neoplasm characterized by numerous negative images of adipocyte cells interspersed with thin fibrous septa and lobules of serous salivary parenchyma. Histopathological diagnosis of Sialolipoma was defined. The patient has been under follow-up for six months with no complaints.
