Resumo: This study presents the diagnosis and treatment of four patients with suspected toxoplasmosis. The cases involve two males, aged 66 and 33, presenting symptoms of dysphagia, cervical edema, and lower lip ulceration, respectively. Additionally, it includes two females, aged 59 and 31, reporting swelling in the left parotid and left mandibular base, respectively. Diagnostic confirmation was achieved through complementary examinations, including fine-needle aspiration cytology, which identified taquizoites and oocysts indicative of Toxoplasma gondii infection. Imaging provided insights into the affected areas and serological laboratory tests offered a deeper histopathological analysis, confirming the diagnosis and assessing the patients immunological response to the infection. A combined therapy regimen, consisting of Perimethamine (25mg), Sulfadiazine (500mg), and Folinic Acid (15mg), was initiated, leading to significant therapeutic response, symptom improvement, and noticeable reduction in affected tissue volume.
