Resumo: Plasmacytoma is characterized by a monoclonal neoplastic proliferation of plasma cells, which may be restricted to a medullary area, or an extramedullary area, involving many areas. Plasma cells represent the final stage of maturation of B lymphocytes. Cells that normally inhabit the bone marrow and are specialized in the production of immunoglobulin. This panel reports two cases of plasmacytomas, one in a male patient, 60 years old, presenting an increase in volume in the right mandibular region. And the second about a female patient, Caucasian, 75 years old, presenting an increase in volume in the posterior third of the hard palate on the left side and an increase in volume in the bottom of the upper vestibule. The first case underwent an incisional biopsy and, after diagnosis, was referred to an oncologist. Second case was biopsied in a hospital environment and the diagnosis was confirmed. Both remain under long-term follow-up.
