Resumo: Odontogenic gingival epithelial hamartoma has rarely been reported in the oral pathology literature. We present a 75-year-old male patient with a chief complaint of a large asymptomatic gingival mass on the second quadrant. Clinical examination revealed a firm lobulated partially pedunculated mass that compromised the vestibular aspect of tooth 23 to 26 and extended into the alveolar ridge of the absent teeth 25 and 26. The mass surface appeared erythematous with superficial ulceration covered with fibrin. Since the lesion was considered a benign exophitic lesion, an excisional biopsy was performed. The histology reveled a mass of connective tissue containing sheets, cords and island of cubic epithelial cell, in some areas surrounding stellate cells.The stroma was mainly myxomatous. Ki67 was positive only in the cells of the periphery, CK 19 and C k14 was positive in all epithelium inside le connective tissue mass. There was no recurrence after excision.
