Resumo: Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) constitutes the most common oral malignant neoplasia, primarily affecting men over 50 years old. SCC usually presents as a irregular ulcer or red/white patches. We report two cases of oral SCCs occuring simultaneously in the right buccal mucosa and right alveolar ridge of a 68-year-old female pheoderm patient. On the buccal mucosa, SCC was a whitish papillomatous exophytic nodule and on the alveolar ridge, an endophytic ulcer with elevated edges, both assymptomatic. Histologically, islets of squamous epitelial cells invading into the lamina propria. This case highlights the importance of a long term follow up in oral SCC, especially in synchronous cases.
