Resumo: The dentigerous cyst, the most common odontogenic cyst in the maxillofacial region, is characterized by a cystic sac surrounding the crown of an impacted tooth. It primarily affects Caucasian males in their second and third decades of life, with mandibular third molars being most commonly affected, followed by maxillary canines and mandibular premolars. A 19-year-old Caucasian female presented with an expansive dentigerous cyst in the right maxillary sinus, displacing teeth 17 and 18 ectopically. Imaging revealed the extent of the cyst, and surgical intervention was performed in May 2022. The patient remains under follow-up with no recurrence to date.
