Resumo: Brown Tumor is a central giant cell lesion associated with hyperparathyroidism, characterized by slow and gradual growth that can lead to significant craniofacial deformities. This study aims to report a case of Brown Tumor associated with secondary hyperparathyroidism due to chronic kidney disease (CKD) in a 49-year-old female patient. She has had secondary hyperparathyroidism due to CKD since 2004, with a PTH level of 1,227pg/mL (normal range: 15~68.3pg/mL), presenting with voluminous and exuberant maxillo-mandibular enlargement, along with a history of spontaneous tooth loss due to lesion growth. Facial computed tomography revealed expansion and disruption of the bone cortices in the right maxilla and mentonian region. Bone scintigraphy showed increased uptake in the parathyroid region, thorax, and maxillary bones. With the advent of improved CKD treatments, clinicians increasingly encounter patients with these systemic conditions, underscoring the importance of understanding the disease, optimal approach, and ideal timing for dental procedures.
