Resumo: Natal teeth are present at birth, whereas neonatal teeth erupt within the first month of life. The etiology of this condition remains uncertain and its incidence has been reported to be around 1:800 to 1:6000 births and may have a hereditary component. The primary concern is the risk of tooth aspiration and deglutition and trauma of the tongue, a complication referred to as Riga-Fede Syndrome. Three neonates, aged 3 to 7 days, exhibited natal teeth in the lower incisor regions. Despite hypermobility, no difficulties were reported during breastfeeding and ulceration on the ventral surface of the tongue was not either detected. Radiographs were taken, confirming that natal teeth were primary teeth rather than supernumerary teeth. Despite teeth mobility, treatment options comprised a conservative approach, which included the maintenance of these teeth, laser therapy, surveillance, and guidance for parents. A significant reduction in complications was noted after one month.
