Resumo: Adenomatoid Odontogenic Tumor (AOT) is a benign neoplasm typically associated with impacted anterior teeth in the maxilla. The present study aims to report a case of intraosseous extrafollicular AOT, emphasizing diagnostic methods and treatment options, in a 17-year-old female patient who presented with swelling in the maxillary region. Upon clinical examination, an intraosseous tumor lesion was observed, located between teeth 11-13, asymptomatic, and with a 10-year history. Computed tomography revealed a hypodense, well-defined area with expansion of the buccal and palatine corticals. A diagnosis was established through incisional biopsy, confirming AOT. Treatment consisted of conservative surgical enucleation and curettage of the lesion. Postoperative follow-up showed favorable evolution. This case underscores the variability of AOT and the importance of comprehensive approaches to its diagnosis and treatment.
