Resumo: Papilloma is a lesion characterized by the proliferation of the lining epithelium induced by HPV. The objective of this work is to report the case of oral papillomas treated by low-level laser therapy. A 45-year-old white woman sought dental care complaining of lesions in the upper lip. Physical examination revealed that there were two painless white lesions with an irregular surface, sessile base on the upper lip. The patient had already undergone surgery to remove papillomas a year ago. Furthermore, the clinical characteristics of the lesion confirmed that the papillomas had recurred. The lesions were completely removed by low-level laser therapy. No surgical complications were observed. The lesions were sent for pathological analysis, which confirmed the diagnosis of papilloma.
