Título: The complex diagnosis of Ameloblastic Fibro-Odontoma - a Clinical Case Report

Resumo: Ameloblastic Fibro-Odontoma is a rare benign odontogenic tumor with both Ameloblastic Fibroma and Complex Odontoma histological characteristics. An extensive one in a 13-year-old male patient is reported, with a painless swelling on the lower jaw with an expansive growth, hardly consistent, coated by erythematous tissue.
Images reveals a large mixed calcified mass, from the second right premolar region to the ramus of the mandible and with rejection of the 47th and 48th teeth. The provisional diagnosis was Complex Odontoma.
The patient was submitted to lesion enucleation and a titanium prototyped plate was installed. It was observed odontogenic epithelium immersed in myxoid mesenchymal with dental papilla aspect, like ameloblastic fibroma, but it was mostly composed by thick lamellar mature bone, dentine and enamel tissues, like complex odontoma.
After 4 years of proservation, the patient was submitted to a new surgery procedure, to recurrent lesional enucleation, with the same hystopathological result.
