Resumo: This work involves the elaboration of teaching material intended for the dental management of cancer patients, aligned with the Care Protocols of the Health Department of the Federal District (DF). The main objective is to offer an informative and accessible tool to Dental Surgeons in the region, scientifically based and in compliance with local health policies. The material ranges from preventive measures to specific management approaches during cancer treatment, aiming to improve the quality of dental care. The protocol reflects the commitment to improving dental care, especially aimed at patients undergoing antineoplastic treatment. Currently, the protocol is in the analysis phase by the Permanent Committee on Health Care Protocols of SES-DF - CPPAS. Once implemented, it is expected that it will bring significant advances in the quality of care offered to cancer patients treated by the SUS.
