Título: MANDIBULAR METASTASIS OF PELVIC EWING'S SARCOMA: CASE REPORT

Resumo: An 18-year-old woman with non-metastatic Ewings Sarcoma in the right pelvis, treated by the INT-0091-POG-8850/CCG-7881-Regime B protocol, in follow-up for seven and a half years. She presented pain and numbness in the right mandible. The panoramic radiograph showed a radiolucent lesion, with irregular margins, which extended from the periapex of teeth 42 to 45, promoting resorption of their apex. A biopsy was performed, and the histopathological examination indicated Ewings Sarcoma (CD99 positive; myogenin and CK8-18 negative). After biopsy was diagnosed metastasis in the ischiopubic, right hip joint, and both tibias. Salvage chemotherapy (irinotecan and temozolomide) and mandible radiotherapy (30Gy/10 fractions) were employed. Dental therapy was performed before radiotherapy, including confectioning of an intraoral stent. After the treatment, the medical team chose to monitor the mandibular lesion, and the patient was kept in follow-up. After three and a half years, the patient remains without active disease evidence and oral toxicities.
