Resumo: Ameloblastomas are uncommon in children, and treatment is challenging due to complexities of surgically removing growing bone. In 1996, a patient presented with a mandibular lesion, characterized by the absence of teeth 44 to 47. A panoramic radiograph revealed a unilocular radiolucent area in the right mandibular body, involving impacted crowns of teeth 46 and 47. At age 12, treatment involved marsupialization, followed by removal of tooth 47 and surrounding tissue. Histopathological examination confirmed Ameloblastoma. In 2002, radiolucent areas on tooth apices necessitated extraction of teeth 44 to 46. Computed tomography in 2009 revealed multilocular radiolucent areas in tooth 48 and retromolar region, confirmed as solid Ameloblastoma during exploratory surgery. A 13 mm radiolucent lesion in the right molar region in 2016 required marginal bone resection. Recurrence in 2018 prompted further surgery. Despite relapses, some argue conservative treatments help preserve jaw growth in young patients. The patient remains under follow-up.
