Resumo: Cemento-osseous dysplasia (COD) is a benign, multifocal fibro-osseous lesion that occurs in the maxillary bones, often diagnosed incidentally on imaging studies. Six cases of COD will be presented, where all patients were female, with ages at diagnosis ranging from 15 to 50 years old. One patient reported symptoms, which was the reason for evaluation; in the other five cases, panoramic radiographs present radiolucent mixed with radiopaque images with varied densities in the mandible and maxilla. In two asymptomatic cases, clinical signs were observed on oral examination. The final diagnosis was based on panoramic and periapical radiographs, as well as tests to confirm the vitality of teeth surrounded by radiolucent hypodense lesions. Since surgical removal of intraosseous lesions is not indicated, treatment was based on periodic follow-up.
