Resumo: Case 1: A 16-year-old female patient was referred due to a radiographic finding. During the physical examination, a bulge was observed in the vestibular area of tooth 28. Panoramic radiography revealed a well-defined radiolucent lesion around teeth 28 and 29. CT scans showed thinning of cortical bone without fenestration or root resorption. The clinical hypothesis was simple bone cyst and odontogenic keratocyst. Aspirative puncture yielded yellow-citrine fluid, but no cystic capsule was found during surgery. Case 2: Another 19-year-old female patient was referred for evaluation after a routine radiographic examination revealed a lesion. Panoramic radiography showed an extensive multilocular radiolucent lesion spanning from the mandibular angle to the head of the right mandible. Initial clinical hypotheses included odontogenic keratocyst and ameloblastoma. Surgical access revealed only an empty cavity. Both cases were clinically diagnosed as simple bone cyst and treated with curettage, resulting in excellent bone regeneration.
