Resumo: Pemphigus Vulgaris is an chronic autoimmune disorder, causes painful blisters on the skin and mucosa attributed to intra-epithelial acantholysis. This case reports the diagnostic process and systemic treatment associated with laser adjuvant therapy of this exuberant disorder. A 43-years-old male was referred by a dermatologist with clinical diagnosis, properly medicated systemically. Patient related an initial presentation involving the lower lip, pain and difficulty to eat persists. Syphilis and HIV tests were negative. He presented multiple lesions in the oral cavity and body, varing ulcerated to crusted, poorly defined limits, ranging in color from red to brown with some secondary infection areas. The patient underwent to 10 sessions of laser photobiomodulation, with irradiation protocol using the DMC Laser - 660nm, 100mW, 1J/point, 10sec for tissue repair and 808nm, 100mW, 3J/point, 30sec, for analgesia. There was a satisfactory improvement in tissue repair process and analgesia with laser application and systemic corticosteroid prescription.
