Resumo: Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are a rare congenital vascular condition which can cause expansion of the rounded tissues and fatal hemorrhage. This case report highlights a 10-year-old male patient with arteriovenous malformation in the left hemiface which led to notable maxillary and mandibular bone malformations. Over the years multiple embolizations were performed due to episodes of intraoral hemorrhage. Panoramic radiography revealed a cyst at the mandible symphysis, associated with impacted left canine and premolar teeth. Computed tomography indicated a 30mm lesion with vestibular bone expansion. Following embolization, surgical excision of the cyst and extraction of impacted teeth were performed. Histopathological analysis confirmed a dentigerous cyst. Six years later, embolization facilitated extraction of left mandible molars affected by the AVM. After 9 years of follow-up, the patient remains asymptomatic with no evidence of recurrent lesions.
