Título: CHONDROBLASTIC OSTEOSARCOMA IN THE MANDIBLE BODY: A CASE REPORT

Resumo: Osteosarcoma is among the rarest malignancies affecting the facial skeletal structures of individuals worldwide, constituting approximately 1% of all malignancies in the head and neck region. A 45-year-old female patient, caucasian, presented with a history of facial pain for approximately one year and an increase in volume in the right mandibular region. Tomographic examination showed an osteolytic lesion in the right mandibular body suggestive of inflammatory/infectious origin. She underwent an incisional biopsy and the histopathological analysis confirmed the diagnosis of Chondroblastic Osteosarcoma with compromised margins. The patient was referred to the regional oncology center for adjuvant treatment and clinical follow-up. Currently, the patient is undergoing radiochemotherapy treatment and receiving multidisciplinary follow-up post-cancer treatment.
