Resumo: Canalicular adenoma (CA) is a benign neoplasm almost exclusively found in minor salivary glands, with rare occurrence. It most commonly occurs in elderly females and clinically presents as a painless, slow-growing, mobile mass. A 73-year-old female patient, hypertensive, presented with a nodular, sessile, submucosal lesion with fibrous consistency, located on the upper lip on the right side measuring 5 cm, causing lip asymmetry, asymptomatic, and evolving over one year. Doppler ultrasonography with a frequency of 20MHz identified a lesion with the presence of a fibrous septum dividing it into two areas, with the superficial area composed of denser tissue. Puncture and aspiration (video) were performed followed by uneventful excisional biopsy. The surgical specimen was sent for histopathological examination, stained with H&E, and subjected to an immunohistochemical panel, confirming the diagnosis of canalicular adenoma. The postoperative period was uneventful.
