Título: PLASMABLASTIC LYMPHOMA ASSOCIATED WITH MYIASIS AND FUNGAL INFECTION IN A PATIENT WITH AIDS: CASE REPORT

Resumo: We report a case of a male patient, 33 years old, Brazilian, homeless, HIV+ since 2014, without treatment. Positive for tuberculosis, syphilis and hepatitis B. Drug user, smoker and alcoholic for 10 years. He reported severe pain in his lower lip associated with leukoplakia with areas of pseudomembrane and edema. The patient evaded from the hospital and 2 months later returned with major erythroplakia, associated with tissue necrosis, loss of dental elements and myiasis. Preoperative exams included blood count and PTA, in addition to the administration of Ivermectin and vitamin K in the pre and postoperative period to perform an incisional biopsy. Histopathology suggested plasmablastic lymphoma with secondary fungal infection. Additional immunohistochemical study was performed using CD20, CD30, MUM1, Ki67, CD138, CD78A, CD45, EBV, Kappa and Lambda which confirmed the diagnosis of plasmablastic lymphoma. The patient was referred to the regional oncology reference hospital but died shortly after.
