Título: ODONTOGENIC MYXOMA OF THE MANDIBLE: A CASE REPORT.

Resumo: Case report involving 29 years-old pheoderma masculine patient, orthodontic treatment in progress, complaining of gingivae swelling. The intraoral exam showed tumefaction on the posterior right-side of mandible sizing 5cm, expanding swelling on vestibule-lingual sides, displacing the elements 47 and 48 to lingual side, invading vestibule of mouth. The lesion has consistent and firm aspect, diffuse boundaries, covered by natural oral mucosa color and it presents marked by superior antagonist element. The radiograph exam showed a radiolucent multilocular lesion with bubble soap appearance. Computed tomography exam presented lingual and buccal cortical plates expansion on mandible body. Incisional biopsy performed reported confirmation of odontogenic myxoma. Patient was referred to surgical intervention to a mandible resection and reconstruction.
