Resumo: Ameloblastoma is the second most common benign odontogenic tumor, known for its local aggressiveness and invasiveness. This case reports a 45 years-old female patient mainly complaining of pain and swelling on the right-side of the face. This patient reported two previous surgeries, the first one about 25 years ago. The intraoral exam presented a firm and consistent tumefaction, lower alveolar ridge region slightly expanded and inferior molars missing on the mandible right-side. Radiograph and computer tomography exam show extended radiolucent lesion, well defined limits and sclerotic edges extending from first molar to mandibular incisure. Histopathologic exam from incisional biopsy confirmed unicystic ameloblastoma. Patient was referred to surgical intervention to a mandible partial resection, reconstruction using vascularized bone graft and osseointegrated implants. Patient on post-operative waiting for histopathologic result from the portion surgically removed.
