Resumo: This study involved three patients aged 9 to 16 years old, diagnosed with Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa, two male and one female, who sought dental care due to oral cavity alterations. Clinical examination revealed bruises, multiple erythematous areas in different body regions, pseudosyndactyly in the hands and feet, and low body weight. In the intraoral examination, ankyloglossia, microglossia, and multiple ulcers were observed. Based on the medical history, physical examination, and imaging tests, a treatment protocol was proposed. Pre-treatment care includes the application of low-power laser on oral lesions and the use of Dexpantenol on mucous membranes, the dentists glove, and instruments in direct contact with the patients oral cavity. Treatment involves minimally invasive techniques, and post-treatment includes the use of low-power laser to minimize potential formation of new lesions. The dentists knowledge of the treatment protocol for these patients is crucial for their quality of life.
