Resumo: Adenoid ameloblastoma is a benign epithelial odontogenic neoplasm characterized by cribriform architecture and duct-like structures, frequently presenting dentinoid. A white male patient, 9 years old, presented an asymptomatic swelling in the right side of the mandible body. On panoramic radiography, a radiolucent, unilocular, well-defined lesion was observed, extending from the distal part of tooth 83 to the mesial part of tooth 85 causing root resorption. With suspicious of ameloblastoma, an incisional biopsy was performed under local anesthesia. The anatomopathological diagnosis was ameloblastoma. Conservative treatment was performed under general anesthesia using enucleation, curettage and osteotomy. The surgical specimen examination revealed a proliferation of nests, cords and sheets of ameloblastic cells organized in follicular and plexiform patterns, some exhibiting cystic degeneration. In several nests, tubular structures with a morula appearance were noted, revealing the diagnosis of adenoid ameloblastoma. The patient has been monitored for 6 months and shows no signs of recurrence.
