Resumo: A 57-year-old leukoderma female patient, with neither intra nor extraoral clinical alterations, who was awaiting hemimandibulectomy due to a mandibular ameloblastoma. She presented two previously performed biopsies with a diagnosis of normal cortical bone. Panoramic radiography showed multilocular radiolucent areas with the appearance of "soap bubbles" unchanged over a 10-year follow-up period of time, extending from tooth 34 to the region near the mandibular angle, confirmed by fanbeam computed tomography. During the incisional biopsy procedure there was abundant bleeding, leading to the diagnostic possibility of hemangioma. Microscopy showed irregular bone trabeculae interspersed with a small number of neoformed blood vessels, suggesting the possibility of intraosseous hemangioma.
