Título: PAPILLARY CYSTADENOMA OF THE PALATE: A CASE REPORT

Resumo: A 94-year-old female patient, leukoderma, came to the clinic complaining of a lesion on the "roof of the mouth," which had been bothering her for six months. Intraoral examination revealed a nodule located in the posterior region of the hard palate with a smooth and pink surface, a sessile base and a flaccid consistency. As a semi-technical maneuver, a positive aspiration puncture was performed, showing a liquid similar to saliva. Based on the aspects of the lesion and the hypotheses of Pleomorphic Adenoma and Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma, an incisional biopsy was carried out. The diagnosis on histopathological examination with immunohistochemical tests was Cystadenoma. The clinical approach to the diagnosis was conservative surgical removal of the lesion, which was sent to the pathology laboratory, which confirmed the diagnosis of Cystadenoma once again. Strict monitoring of the patient was indicated, with clinical evaluations to visualize a possible recurrence.
