Resumo: This case report discusses the treatment and multidisciplinary management of extensive Paracoccidioidomycosis (PCM) lesions in a 38-year-old male referred to a stomatology service. The patient presented with painful ulcerated lesions on the lower lip, chin, and left eye, which had been ongoing for 8 years, along with weight loss and breathing difficulty over the past 2 years, and a history of scabies. Although serological tests were negative, a chest x-ray revealed bilateral infiltrates, leading to an incisional biopsy in oral lesion confirming PCM. Treatment with Itraconazole, overseen by the Dermatology team, was initiated, and referrals were made to the Plastic Surgery and Ophthalmology Teams for scar retractions and microstomia. This case underscores the importance of considering PCM in chronic ulcerative lesions, especially in endemic regions, and highlights the necessity of multidisciplinary care for effective treatment monitoring and complication management in stomatology.
