Resumo: Lymphomatoid Papulosis (LyP) is a rare condition described by Macaulay (1968). Currently it is considered a cutaneous CD30+ lymphoproliferative disorder (WHO-EORTC consensus, 2005). It is characterized by cutaneous lesions that resolve spontaneously, histopathologically by atypical CD30+ lymphocytic infiltration. Documented reports referring to oral mucosal involvement are not found in abundance. We report the case of a 50-year-old female patient showing ulcers with indurated borders on tongue dorsum. An incisional biopsy was performed, resulting in infiltration by CD30+ peripheral T-cell lymphoma. The lesion was resolved spontaneously, and under the frame of histopathological and immunohistochemical findings it was diagnosed as CD30+ T-cell Lymphoproliferative disorder, LyP Type C. In these cases, it is recommended a stomatic-hemato-oncologic follow-up for risk of developing a lymphoma. Due to the indolent clinical behavior of inflammatory diseases, differential diagnostic performance of them represents a challenge.
