Título: SECRETORY CARCINOMA OF THE UPPER LIP: A RARE TUMOR

Resumo: Female patient, 50 years came to the stomatologyst with the complaint: "I have a lump in my mouth". During the history reported a nodule 3 years ago. On intraoral examination presented a single nodule, normal color, oval, smooth, firm, non-infiltrating in the upper left labial mucosa measuring 1.0x0.8x0.5 cm. The clinical hypothesis was fibrous mucocele. An incisional biopsy was made and the inicial report was Masson´s Tumor. The biopsy was sent for histochemical, which revealed a fragment of mucosa with a fibrous capsule surrounding a proliferation of eosinophilic cytoplasmic cells with a granular appearance, a microcystic pattern and papillary areas, mild nuclear pleomorphism was noted. The immunohistochemical study showed that PAS with diastase was positive for eosinophilic secretion material. For CK7, S100 and mammoglobin were strong and diffuse positivity. The association of aspects favors the diagnosis of a Secretory Carcinoma of microcystic pattern. The patient was referred and awaiting treatment.
