Título: TREATMENT OF ORAL VASCULAR MALFORMATIONS WITH ETHAMOLIN: A RELATE OF TWO CASES

Resumo: Case 1: 13-year-old male patient, leukoderma, complaining of difficulty during chewing and swallowing, presents a purplish nodular lesion of approximately 3 cm, involving the gingiva in the region of teeth 32, 33 and 34. After 2 sessions of sclerotherapy with ethamolin, total remission of the lesion was observed. No surgery was needed avoiding gingival recession. Case 2: 28-year-old female, leukoderma patient with a 1.8 cm diameter purple purplish nodule in the tongue. Three weeks after the sclerotherapy, the lesion reduced significantly, favoring surgical treatment. An excisional biopsy was performed, the result of the biopsy also confirmed the diagnosis of hemangioma, and there were no signs of wound healing after 2 months of the procedure. In this two cases vitro pressure maneuver was performed, and both patients are in preservation and there is no recurrence of the lesions.
