Resumo: Eosinophilic ulcers of the oral mucosa are fast-growing lesions that may persist for a few weeks before spontaneous regression. It can occur at all ages and the most common site of involvement is the tongue. The present study aims to report a case series of seven eosinophilic ulcers. The mean age was 55 years, with a slight female preponderance (n = 4). The evolution time ranged from 30 to 180 days. Most cases (n = 5) were on the border of the tongue, and the other two cases were located on the buccal vestibule and floor of the mouth. Among the clinical hypotheses, squamous cell carcinoma was the main one. The histopathological examination revealed ulceration in the surface epithelium and intense inflammatory infiltrate in the underlying connective tissue, composed mainly of neutrophils and eosinophils. After the incisional biopsy, the patients were examined and regression of the lesion was observed.
