This is an exploratory cross-sectional study, of an applied nature with documental analysis, carried out at the Pediatric Oncohematology Center of a University Hospital in Pernambuco. For the data analysis, the medical records from 2004 to 2005 were selected, analyzing 109 files of patients from the oncology service, considering the achievement of the objectives listed in the work, an analysis of the clinical profile of patients undergoing antineoplastic treatments aged 0 to 19 years was performed. The masking of clinical data was performed, with the variables located in the clinical records and imputed in an internal database with the researcher, and assigned a numerical identifier, avoiding the exposure of patient data and maintaining the ethical criteria of preservation and safety of clinical data. The result of this work was that acute lymphoid leukemia was the most frequent neoplasm in childhood and adolescence, with prevalence in the age between 5 and 14 years, in females and the most used antineoplastic therapy was chemotherapy, followed by the association between chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
