Resumo: Neonate, male, born at term, vaginal delivery, presented during a physical intraoral examination a big volume at the bottom gum pad, with soft consistency, floating to palpation, around 1cm of diameter and translucid, leading to a congenital eruption cyst diagnostic. The diagnosis was essentially clinical, based on the lesion characteristics. The follow-up appointments were realized every 15 days and, later, every 30 days. After 1 month, the lesion regressed significantly. After 3 months, the lesion disappeared completely, and the bottom central incisive teeth erupted. In the fourth month the eruption followed its normal evolution, and no teeth presented any mobility. It was not necessary any surgery approach, since the lesion regressed spontaneously and deciduous were not presenting any mobility, as well causing no tongue belly ulcer. Neonate is still in follow-up with regular teeth eruption and total regression of the lesion.
