Título: CLINICAL PROFILE AND ONCOLOGICAL OUTCOMES IN YOUNG PATIENTS WITH TONGUE SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA

Resumo: A high incidence of oral cancer is observed in older patients with smoking and drinking habits. Recent years have seen a change in the incidence profile, and an increasing number of cases have been diagnosed in young patients. This study describes the clinical profile and oncological outcomes of four young patients diagnosed with tongue squamous cell carcinoma. The sample comprises two male and two female patients, ages ranging from twenty-two to thirty-three years of age, without a history of smoking and drinking habits. Through histopathological analysis, three of the four patients had advanced stages of the disease at the time of diagnosis. Data regarding diagnostic challenges and clinical characteristics, including cancer treatment, follow-up, and oncological outcomes, will be discussed.
