Resumo: Granular cell tumor (GCT) is a rare, predominantly benign neoplasm, uncommonly affecting children and adolescents. This study reports a series of five pediatric cases of oral GCT histologically diagnosed and retrieved from a tertiary referral service, reviewed by two experienced pathologists. All cases occurred in female patients aged 7-18 years. Lesions presented as solitary, asymptomatic, slow-growing, firm nodules on the tongue, approximately 10 mm in diameter. Histologically, the overlying epithelium exhibited hyperparakeratosis, mild atrophy, and straightened rete ridges. The lamina propria showed a proliferation of cells with abundant granular cytoplasm and regular nuclei, predominantly in the superficial compartment, associated with occasional vascular congestion and interstitial edema. All lesions were treated by surgical excision with no evidence of recurrence. Although rare in the pediatric population, GCT should be considered in the differential diagnosis of tongue nodules. Clinical follow-up is recommended given potential risk of recurrence and malignant transformation.
