Resumo: This report describes two cases of oral choristomas. A 44-year-old white female with Fanconi anemia presented with a whitish, firm, sessile, asymptomatic papular lesion on the dorsal tongue, with a 4-month evolution. Histopathological examination revealed stratified squamous epithelium overlying connective tissue with mild chronic inflammatory infiltrate and well-defined lobules of mature hyaline cartilage. The second case involved a 12-year-old white male presenting with a sessile submucosal nodule on the left buccal mucosa, firm, and painful on palpation. Microscopic analysis showed dense, hypocellular connective tissue with mild chronic inflammatory infiltrate, containing immature bone trabeculae and areas of acellular eosinophilic material compatible with dentinoid. Both cases were diagnosed as choristomas, defined as the presence of histologically normal tissue in an ectopic location. These lesions are benign and present a low recurrence rate after conservative surgical excision. Although rare, choristomas should be considered in the evaluation of oral lesions.
