Resumo: Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) is an acute, immune-mediated, rare, and potentially fatal mucocutaneous reaction, often drug-induced. A 6-year-old male pediatric patient was admitted to the intensive care unit with septicemia and SJS triggered by antibiotic use, progressing to toxic epidermal necrolysis. The patient presented extensive mucocutaneous lesions, with painful oral involvement and functional impairment. The diagnosis was established based on clinical evaluation and disease progression. Management included a multidisciplinary approach, with intensive support and dental intervention focused on pain control, infection management, and tissue repair. Mechanical debridement, antimicrobial photodynamic therapy in the initial phases, and subsequent sessions of low-level photobiomodulation were performed. Regression of ulcerations and significant re-epithelialization were observed within eight days. Follow-up demonstrated functional recovery and complete healing. Photobiomodulation associated with photodynamic therapy proved to be a safe and effective strategy for managing oral lesions.
