Resumo: A 57-year-old female patient with hypertension presented with electric shock-like pain in the region of tooth 43 for one year. Clinical examination revealed partial dentition, use of unsatisfactory removable partial dentures, fair oral hygiene, normal-colored mucosa, slight swelling in the lingual region, and grade I tooth mobility in tooth 44. Vitality tests were performed on teeth 43 and 44, both yielding positive results. Additionally, cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) demonstrated an intraosseous lesion. The diagnostic hypotheses included ameloblastoma and adenomatoid odontogenic tumor. Considering the suspicion of a benign lesion, excision of the lesion was performed with preservation of teeth 43 and 44, and the specimen was submitted for histopathological examination. Histopathological analysis revealed proliferation of odontogenic epithelium with solid, duct-like, and cribriform patterns, with peripheral palisading and central stellate cells, confirming the diagnosis of adenomatoid odontogenic tumor. Follow-up demonstrated a favorable outcome, with no signs of recurrence.
