Título: PYOGENIC GRANULOMA IN AN UNUSUAL LOCATION: CASE REPORT

Resumo: This is a report case of a 17-year-old female patient, an e-cigarette user and drug user, she reports having multiple sexual partners, a recent diagnosis of syphilis and a history of pregnancy less than year ago. The patient sought treatment at the stomatology departament to an exophytic, irregular, pedunculated, well-defined, reddish tumour with spontaneous bleeding and localised pain on the palate, which had been present for approximately one year. Serological and laboratory tests were requested, with no anormalities found. The clinical features of pyogenic granuloma and a recent history of pregnancy, despite the atypical location, an excisional biopsy was performed. Histopathological analysis revealed a lesion with proliferation of circunscribed capillaries and a loose granulation stroma, confirming the diagnostic hypothesis. After 10 months, the patient has show no recurrence of the lesion.
