Resumo: Hamartomas are benign, disordered growths of mature tissue that rarely occur in the tongue. Lingual hamartomas typically present as solitary lesions, though their exact pathogenesis remains unclear. This study describes two cases of congenital lingual hamartomas, focusing on their clinical presentation, histopathological characteristics, and surgical management. Two pediatric patients presented with congenital nodular masses located on the midline of the tongue. The first case involved an asymptomatic, pedunculated lesion that had remained stable since birth. The second case involved a sessile lesion with a clinical history of fluctuating size. Both patients underwent surgical excision under general anesthesia. Histopathological analysis revealed hyperparakeratinized surface epithelium overlying dense connective tissue, skeletal muscle, adipose tissue, and prominent blood vessels. Immunohistochemical staining showed positivity for S100, SMA, and CD34, confirming the diagnosis of hamartoma. Surgical excision proved successful in both instances; the patients remain under clinical follow-up with no evidence of recurrence.
