Resumo: Myoepithelioma is a benign salivary gland neoplasm, accounting for approximately 1.5% of all salivary gland tumors and exhibiting a low recurrence rate. A 51-year-old male patient presented with a nodular lesion on the hard palate, measuring 4.0 cm at its greatest diameter, with partial purplish coloration and a smooth surface, with a six-month evolution. An incisional biopsy was performed. Histological examination revealed a proliferation of plasmacytoid cells arranged in cords, nests, and sheets, embedded in a connective tissue stroma ranging from fibrous to myxoid and hyalinized. Tumor cells showed immunoreactivity for vimentin, S100 protein, cytokeratin AE1/AE3, and D2-40 (podoplanin). Based on these findings, the final diagnosis was myoepithelioma. The patient underwent complete surgical excision and remains under follow-up without evidence of recurrence.
