Título: MANDIBULAR METASTASIS OF UROTHELIAL CARCINOMA: A CASE REPORT

Resumo: A 70-year-old female, feoderma, presented to the hospital emergency department complaining of "extremely painful bruising caused by her denture," reporting spontaneous bleeding for approximately 3 months. The medical history revealed uncontrolled hypertension. Extraoral physical examination revealed swelling in the parotid region and lower cervicofacial region on the left side. On intraoral examination, a nodular, multilobulated lesion was observed, firm on palpation and irregular borders, located in the left posterior mandibular alveolar ridge. The initial clinical hypothesis was squamous cell carcinoma. An incisional biopsy was performed, and histopathology revealed malignant epithelial neoplasia with a glandular pattern, with histogenesis to be clarified by immunohistochemistry. Immunohistochemical analysis revealed positive and diffuse staining for the markers GATA3, CK7, CK20, P63, and CEA. These findings are conclusive for metastasis of urothelial carcinoma, the most common histological type of bladder cancer, a malignant tumor known for its invasive behavior and metastatic potential.
