Initially, decompression was performed with the installation of a cannula, without satisfactory response, and the injury progressed. Simultaneously, a review of the histological slides was requested to an oral and maxilofacial pathology service, whose final diagnosis was Dentinogenic Ghost Cell Tumor (DTCF). In face of this diagnosis, a surgical excision associated with osteoplasty in the maxillary sinus. The patient is undergoing five months of post-operative follow-up. DTCF is a rare benign odontogenic tumor, whose recognition is important for stomatopathology due to its rarity, locally aggressive behavior and relative complexity of the differential diagnosis with other odontogenic lesions.
